Christian von Koenigsegg, the visionary behind Sweden’s Koenigsegg Automotive, unveiled the 245-mph CCX in America last summer. With a featherlight carbon-fiber composite structure, it weighs about the same as a Mazda Miata, yet has about five times the power. Despite its seemingly single-minded pursuit of velocity, the CCX is anything but acetic; beneath a removable roof panel, gorgeous aluminum brightwork contrasts swathes of leather and Alcantara (each available in 10 hues, stitched together with one of 11 thread colors).
